If you need to check the time regularly and needs it specific, then don't choose the black color. The number and background are similar, So it's not so noticeable. But, it works for me, I am ok with it as I usually have my phone around. I bought this clock just only for looking nice in my bedroom.
Bought this for my study room wall. The mint green color looks so terrific!!! hey are completely silent and won't disturb my study. I also bought a second clock for my another room.
